de Ock produces a gem

Sure was a great knock that set the Proteas up for the win.

One of the better if not the best batting performances that I have witnessed from de Kock.

After the WI strong batting and the when the score hit the 200 mark I was wondering if the SA side would possibly have a shot of winning this game. At the 250 mark I thought that the game was won for them.

But low and behold from the first over bowled to the Proteas it was obvious that the challenge was accepted and it was game on.

A good performance from the top six batters and what a win.

Yep, Quinton needed to get off to a flyer and he did, it set the tone and tempo for the rest of the innings and very importantly took the pressure off the incoming batsmen.

Interesting days ahead for the Proteas.

Ock sure set the tone and tempo…and very importantly put the pressure on the incoming batsmen. Another series lost when our ‘premier batsman ’ could have made a difference
