At present SA is ranked number 4 in the rankings. India is on top with 116 points - flowed by England with 108 points, New Zealand with 107 points and SA with 106 points
E\The following tests series may influence the rankings until 21 March 2019 - the new season for 2019/20 kicked in on 1 April 2019:-
* England does not play any further tests in the period up to end March 2019,
* New Zealand will be playing a three match series at home against Bangla Desh
* South Africa has to play a further test against Pakistan and a three test series at home against Srl Lanka at home
It is unlikely that the test against Pakistan will produce a result - the weather predictions for the game is very bad from a rugby perspective - with thunder storms predicted on every day of the match, However, should SA win the test it may move up ahead of New Zealand and even England in the rankings.
Insofar as ODI's are concerned at present Pakistan is ranked no 1 and that will make the upcoming series between Pakistan and SA very interesting,
