I would like to give for information of SA Cricket supporters the following info iro the TPL Auction held yesterday.  


*   I have already previously given a list of SA players not up for auction - who will remain with their present franchises


*   Amla was up for auction - but surprisingly there were no takers and he was UNSOLD


*   Aside from the SA pl;ayers already under contract the following players have been sold to the very clubs:-


     Chris Morris             =    Rajastan  Royals

     David Wiese            =    Royal Challengers Bangalore

     Kyle Abbott            =     Chennai Super Kings

     Albie Morkel            =     Delhi Daredevils

     Rusty Theron          =     Rajastan Royals


Aside from Amla - the following Protea WC squad members not in IPL are Behardien, Philander, Parnell and Tahir,

Yoiu may have noticed - or probably not - that the cricket items are not on site anymore - so I posted it here, because some members - especi.ally in Canda and the uS arfe interested.   So stop being priggish.

These guys earn millions.   AB is one of the top earners making aboiut R13 000 000 for the 8 weeks tournament.   So is Dale Steyn.    In the middle range you get players like De Kockk (R7 000 000), Faf du Plessis (R8 000 000) and Duminy R5 000 000).   
Amla's starting price wass about $300 000 - but nobody wanted to buy him.   Maybe  he is not highly rated by the Indians in the shorter version of the game.
Can you imagine a 21 year old earning R10 000 000 a year in IPL, his SA contract, sponsorships, etc.   That is more than most cricketers earned in their whole career as players.
Incidentally Wiese could make a fortune out of IPL if he prodiuces the goods this year.
