The Player Release phase is now completed and the next stage is the actual player auction. In the release phase in particular the number of Aussie, New Zealand and West Indies players were released while one each player frim SriLanka and England were released as well.
In the case of SA players Steyn, Morris and Viljoen were released as well.
Some of the released Players - if they are on the auction list - may get bids in the auction and play for different franchises - bit at a much reduced price.
At this stage the following SA Players are retained by their franchises:-
Rabada, Nortje, De Kock, Du Plessis, Tahir, Ngidi, De Villiers and Miller
So which SA players may get bids in the auction. My guess is that the following players may be on the Indian radar for purchase. Those may include -
