Jon Jon and Klaasen....can’t recall them getting too much support here. Ock unfortunately was castled early again.
Klaasen takes us home
Smuts is NO answer to anything, He is the one weak link in the present squad. He strike rate was dismal in the second ODI and for the most part in the third ODI, I gave Klaasen credit for his performance after earlier in his playing career he failed badly and was out of selection for at least 18 months.
One cannot just look at the BS and disinterested contribution by an idiot like you - start thinking about the whole scenario and maybe one would be able to have a logical discussion with you/
When you post on site it assumes that there must be some logic in what is posted and in your case it is permanently illogical. That is why I tried to remind you about the factual situation and call on you to be logical. I have every right to do so.
By the way you never "discovered" Klaasen - he was already in the SA squad when you first suggested that he should replace De Kock - but at that stage he faded out badly in performances and your present baloney is just a follow-up,
Now lets get it straight - Klaasen played for two years a few games in IPL and the Indians know all there is to know about him. He was in the Hyderabad squad - but nobody wanted to contract him this year,
I sincerely hope he succeeds during the upcoming tour starting on Thursday - but we will have to wait and see whether he will make the grade in the three matches in India, .
Your logic sucks.
Listen idiot
It is hard to understand - but most wise sport thinkers would rather invest in a 22 year old promising performer than in a 30 year old with a mixed record of performance on lower level.
Why did you not analyze why the losses in the previous series happened? A lot of people had no confidence in SAC and their staff will produce anything about why the team was going down the drain. It was a similar scenario in rugby when the game tanked from 2014 to1 2017.
The fact is that SA Cricket until recently was without an "Erasmus" to save the game from total International collapse. With the appointment of Smith and Boucher the selection for a while remained a total disaster, Of all the new players - mostly in the 29 to 33 year old category, only Van der Dussen was a real success - the rest all came short,
The impact of Boucher - who indicated that hew ants to copy and reproduce Erasmus methods in a cricket environment - and Smith is slowly beginning to make changes. Smuts has as many failures than successes in his career as a cricket player and will not be around for much longer in the Protea squad.
It is obvious that some of the squad members are still on borrowed time in the squad and two of those are Du Plessis and Elgar. Hamza did not meet requirements either.
Get somebody to explain the game to you before your next posting.
He is and bar the last ODI he was a vey poor performer.
Do you really know what impact strike rates have on outcomes of shorter versions of the game? Obviously not - since your constant idiocy in that regard comes through in every post you make. He obviously did not realize how the slow strike rate of 64 by Amla caused most of the Proteas losses in matches he played in and they lost.
Neither did the idiot realize that 250+ is not a low score in ODI's. The substandard Smuts strike rate, which allowed the run rate required to be near to 7 rpo at one stage was neutralized by Verreinne - strike rate 100 - and Klaasen - strike rate 99.
The fact is that even though Smuts towards the end did improve on his strike rate - his loss were of no consequence at all - it expedited the early completion of the game, .

300x.8571=257.13 and 257.13>254......do you understand or do I have to explain it to you?
