I found an article where the release and retention of batsmen are dealt with - ni it is mot the gill list yet, The list is what has been agreed upon thus far, The reason why some prominent players like Rabada, Nortje and De Kock is not on the retention list is that their salaries for the IPL has not been finalized as to remuneration has not been finalized yet,
All three are likely to ask for a higher remuneration based on their exploits in 2020. It will be possibly Nortje who would want at least 3 croee and not the bargain basement price they paid him this year, Please note that Mumbai released Coulter-Nile and they would love to get hold of Nortje,
Where there is no mention in the list of other players there is still a very real chance that more releases will follow:-
