voted ICC Emerging Cricketer of the year.

In my not so humble opinion there's a lot more to him than what we've seen so far, the best is yet to come. Just wish he strikes a good coach who can take him to a stellar level.

Agree totally.

What a refreshing, classy all round player to add to the Proteas squad.

Wishing him a long and great future free of injuries with some great scores and wickets.

Plus lots of cash for his contributions to cricket.

His twin brother looks pretty handy as well. Will be interesting to see if he eventually makes it

Guys our last great lower order big hitting Allrounder was Lance, it's been a long, long time between drinks, we've been screaming out for one ever since.........I know I have. At this stage of his career he is a better bowler than the great Klusener and he has the potential to be even better again. He could also be our own reincarnated Joel "Big Bird" Garner(lol)

Enjoy.

JHK?

Can't argue with that but I don't know, yes he was a great Allrounder, come batsman, come bowler, slip fielder etc etc but high up in the order whereas Lance as with Jansen I see as lower order big hitting Allrounders. I also see Jansen playing much the same role as Klusener although it's early days who knows what the future holds for him. I know Mark Waugh and Adam Gilchrist were spruiking Jansen as perhaps the next JK.

Lance is one of my favorite cricketers ever and probably our best all-rounder in ODIs ever...as his achievements in 99 CWC illustrated.  but JHK is Sobers level...

Kallis is probably best cricketer to ever have lived. Kinda that simple. Bradman doesn’t count.

No doubt about Kallis being one of the greats to have ever played the game.

But I think it is unfair to say he was the best to ever have lived.

Time unfortunately passes by so fast that we soon forget other notable and great players of the past and their achievements.

But Kallis was  sure up with many other greats of the past.

I agree, AJ

But I can think of any player that I'd select before him.

For me, he's the guy.
