The problem is that the Aussies only made 152 runs in 38,4 overs.   They used all their top fast bowlers and one would have thought the Perth pitch would help them.

Remember our expert Mozart said that De Kock and Markham would fail against the Aussie fast bowlers.   They did not and both batted at a rate higher than 6 runs an over and De Kock was the highest run scorer of both teams with 47 runs from 40 balls faced.  Hendriks made 44 runs - but he used 75 balls.   Markram made 36 runs  from 31 balls.

The next ODI is at Adelaide - where the pitch is normally more batsman friendly.

Don't worry Mike.

Their cheats will be back in the team soon and everything will right as rain.
