Agree with you about that  selection when based on averages.   The difference is that India is still a top performing team - while England became a joke.

The problem is it is not how bad England was - it is the way they lost the matches that shows poor performances.   Now they claim there is racism in the English cricket  squad - that is the lowest any cricket authority can go.

Just to put things into perspective, Starc took exactly the same amount of wickets(19) as Rookie Marco Jansen but he took them over 5 tests whereas Jansen took his in 3. 

Starc won the prestigious Allan Border medalist award for his performance in the Ashes ser ies.

Well all the players mentioned above had a good series and we trust that the Proteas bowlers have as much success in the following series against NZ (?) and England.

Starc's first ball of the Ashes was the winner for me.
