Naomi Osaka arrives

In a brilliant display of power reminiscent of the young Serena, Osaka won the US Open tonight. The whole thing was somewhat dominated by a game violation given to Serena.....for coaching, racquet abuse and finally abusing the ump. And when she abused the racquet it was total, that thing was toast! Still the game she was given was Osaka's serve which she was winning convincingly....as she did in the last game, with 3 clean service winners. The thing that distinguishes this kid is she serves as big as Serena, there have been several young Major winners in the last few years....but none of them have that weapon. It will be interesting to see where she goes from here....seems like a nice, fresh personality.

The resultant action by the umpire to Serena's tantrum was 100% justified in my opinion. She behaved like a spoiled brat, and was reprimanded as such. I see the whole world feels sorry for her because he was racists and sexist. What a joke! 
Anyway, Osaka really does appear to be the real deal. She has the ability to generate scary power. Something Serena seemed to battle with. Regardless of the tantrum and whatever else, Osaka was looking good for the win anyway.
