In fact the Proteas are rated above them and are likely to meet them in the semis if seedings hold up. If NZ go through as expected, one wonders if the fool who didn't want us to meet them would prefer that we met Australia ie not win our pool and then face a stronger opponent? Or worse yet, not make the semis at all.

We should be hoping we meet NZ.

How stupid can you get.

Lol Mozart Blackcaps are one of the form teams in the world right now. And have caused SA big issues. They are not dark horses, they are favs on the level of SA. So I agree with the person who said SA need to avoid NZ at all costs. The longer they play the more dangerous they get. SA fans and bloggers, need to stop with this arrogant dismissive attitude. And stop underestimating NZ.

Funny, I have the Black Caps as my 2nd favourite team and the Proteas at 3rd....so who exactly are these SA fans and bloggers that you speak of?

 Pecking order for this CWC:1. Aus2. SA3. NZ4. India
Pakistan and England might get lucky.Luke, your lot ain't bad and you might beat us or win this thing, but all in all, you are less likely to beat either SA or Aus.

NZ are a well balanced, mature team of competitors.....but hardly as potent as OZ. I think Draad has it about right.....but I see it more as Aus as the favourite with SA, India, and NZ about equal next bests.

I think DbDraad has nailed the order. Some one sided results so far and some healthy first innings totals. Look forward to it tightening up once we sort the men from the boys.

"...nailed the order"?

Does that order factor in NZ playing all their pool games on home turf with the possibility of a semi on home turf as well?

Please don't tell me that home town advantage is not a factor in cricket.
