to lose, going by past history the MCG can be quite lively in the first hour or so, she'll swing and there'll be movement, if Steyn comes to the party the Indians might be in for some curry.

The Indians did very well scoring 307 runs for 7 wickets.  The Proteas batters will have to live up to their world rankings if they want to win this one.  
Our bowling was putrid - especially Parnell was a joke.  And Philander was injured so he could only bowl 4 overs.   They should rather have used Abbott instead of Parnell and hope that our batters do well enough to ensure that we make the required runs.
Both Parnell and Behardien were bad selections from the start.   
Lets hope the top batters of SA does well and keep up with the run rate.   If three of our 5 top batters come to the party - we may still be able to win this ODI - especially since the Indian bowlers are not the strongest part of their team.
