Blackcaps have Aussie on the ropes right now at 98-6. Another wicket and it looks curtains.

There must have been a problem with the pitch.   The Aussies scoring only 151 runs and the New Zealand scraping in with 152 for 9.   This is not a good advertisement for playing cricket.   There should be a balance between bowling and batting - which was totally absent in this case - the bowlers ruling the roost.

Well said ou maaaikie the game became a lottery with the black cups having the winning ticket! Oz groundsman should be shot! What is surprising is this sudden interts by the kbbs who previously staeted they had no interest in cricket. If the poor black cups start loosing they will be desserted pronto!

Beeno
This game was played in Auckland and the prepared pitch turned the game as you said into a lottery ticket.   Any team meeting New Zealand in an at home game has a problem with the pitches there.

It wasn't the pitch you slow witted dolt, both captains said the pitch was a screamer and the commentators said the pitch would produce a 300 plus score for whoever batted first.  It was the quality of the bowling attacks.....besides why are commenting on a match you didn't even watch you drooling ars3 clown.

Oumaaik, NZ often use the drop-in pitches & comments from most cricketing oaks have been favourable ........ especially when rugby grounds are played on .

Brilliant game.....with a grandstand finish. Starc may be the new king of fast bowling.  Both teams will take positives and negatives out of this.

It was an amazing game in the end. I saw Oz's score and watched McCallum start then switched off. Couldn't believe when i flicked back and NZ were 7 for. Congratulations NZ on the win. Begrudgingly of course. I have felt we (oz) have a fragility with the batting at times and could collapse. Haddin has often been left to climb out of the hole the top order has left. I must admit to loving to watch McCallum bat.
