With nothing to lose, I would focus on making critical changes, particularly in the batting lineup. The top order is struggling, so this would be my revised team and order, excluding Bavuma and Markram. This is just my opinion on the order, and I have no issue with it being changed, but I would prefer to see the two players mentioned above replaced.

To ave Markram as an opener is really BS Supreme and Bavuma is getting way past it, The BSters were slow and that force Rickelton to try and up te run rate leading to his early demise in matches as well, That ws the problm with Amla as well in the last few tournaments he played in. It wa a major reason for the WC flop as well,
As a matter of fact it is not helping Rickelton as an opener as well, I think we should open with Petorius and Breis and send in Rickelton at 3.

I don't mind Da Source, he appears to have a positive attitude but I get that there might be younger and better around and right now the Proteas are well stocked for openers.
Bavuma is not a white ball player, I've said so many times, it's just stupid to persist with him, as for Markram, he's a serial failure they either play him down the order or drop him.
The coach missed a golden opportunity with the youngsters in a no pressure dead rubber, regardless of the outcome playing them would have added to their much needed experience.
Rickleton comes across as scratchy, I don't see a player stepping up to a higher level even though he's had plenty of opportunities. He also has some technical issues.
Three players they should let go in white ball cricket is Bavuma, Stubbs and possibly Markram.
Stubbs is a disappointment.

You're not wrong, Markram is an underachiever. I didn't think there were any demons in the wicket, easy on the eye, I won't say batting friendly but still a nice pitch to bat on. You're not wrong about Rickleton either, I detect at least one licking flaw plus he's also not showing signs of progress. If he keeps going the way he's going it won't be long before he's worked out and from thereon it's goodnight Sarah!

Sorry - team has been announced and I hav eon Superbru picked he following playerin the Superbru competition. . However the 4 players I picked one I do not think should play shorter versions of cricket - namely Markram - since the players involved as top batsman are all supershit.
I hope Breetske becomes the opening batsman ahead of Markram in the upcoming T2- series and hope Bavuma never play anothe match on either ODI and T20 levl of th game.
It is also high time Brevis is moved to batting at 4 wher he shuld bat in future.
By then I think Mulder should take over the captaincy on ODI and T20 level.

Now I have a new suggesstion for the Protea batting:-
Move Bavuma to bat at 10 and replace him with Brevis at 3.- and move the other batsman down by 1 in the oder. At best Bavuma cannot score rapidly enough to keep the score competitive,
