should know the makeup of his team going into the WC after the Oz series.

For now he should know that there's a sameness in his attack and that he lacks a swing bowler.

He should also realise that Amla is done at the highest level as an opening batsman and that he's be better suited lower down the order at this point of his career, I suggest at first drop. Cut the guy some slack.

He needs to find an opening partner quicksmart for the flaky confidence, Quinton.

Duminy is not the answer as a #3.

Maharaj is his best spinner.

There is no lack of will and work from the ageing Morris and he and Andile are his only allrounder options although the latter remains a work in progress and lacks maturity.

Morris is 29. He still has a good 5 years left. His batting is always improving. I'd much rather have him than BEE Andile.

I'm starting to have serious doubts about Ottis Gibson. Sure he was down a batsmen or two and sure he has to experiment in his search to find the right players but to pick Behardien who will be 35 come the WC is just dumb. He also fails to see that fathertime has caught up with Amla which leaves him with the choice of either dumping him or cutting him some slack and dropping him down the order. My choice would be to retain him but as I've said he then has to bat further down. Just another trick he missed. Tahir is done, Shamsi is not world class, Maharaj is his best spinning option but is not in the squad. The Proteas are a shambles, they need divine intervention to win the WC.
