FRUEAN'S SEASON ALMOST CERTAINLY OVER

Robbie Fruean's Super Rugby campaign is almost certainly over folliwing surgery on Monday to have a steel plate inserted in his fractured arm after injuring it in his side's loss to the Chiefs last weekend.

The timeframe for recovery from this type of injury is usually around 4-5 months, which would mean an early July return in a best-case scenario.

Crusaders Head Coach Todd Blackadder said the entire team was feeling for Robbie and sending him their best wishes for a speedy recovery.

"We know that Robbie wanted to mak e this a great season so this is hugely disappointing for him.

"We know that he will continue to contribute to the team while he is on the road to recovery and we hope that he is able to make a full recovery before the season is over."

Poor guy, he has had a rough career with illness and injury always being a factor. Hope he can stay positive and come back to rugby.

Possibly the best center in NZ. How he was over looked and conrad carhorse picked beats me. He and SBW were the obvious choices.Thankfully the nz oaks also get their selections wrong from time to time but have still a way to make to catch us up - blunders like picking wee victor 105 kg. -2 kg heavier than brussouw and a stringbean. The mind boggles!

3IQ, this is the wrong section. This article is rugby, not cricket.
The potatoes are stored in the potatoes section, and the cabbages in the cabbage section.
