It is safe to say that Rassie van der Dussen is the new star of South African cricket. He was phenomenal with the bat in the ICC event. Rassie van der Dussen, perhaps, played the best knock of his T20 cricket career against England in the 39th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.

He scored 94 runs in just 60 balls, a knock which was laced with 5 fours and 6 sixes. His knock propelled the team to a 189-run total in the first innings. South Africa won that game by 10 runs. Overall, Rassie van der Dussen scored 177 runs in 5 matches in the tournament at an average of close to 60.

Rassie, was to good to late unfortunately in this tournament.
