Despite the dismal expressions of the past year and especially after the WC - the situation fact looks quite bright for the future,

The fact is that Graene Smith must be pivotal in enhancing the capacities of  youngsters like Van Staden and being Director of Cricket it is one of his main jobs to d o that,
