Petersen got some lucky runs previously in an innings where he should have been out multiple times. He’s got shots but i doubt he’ll be breaking any records. Rassie is the most stable mid-order bat we have atm. I’m not an Elgar fan though. For all his fight and doggedness, he remains ordinary with an ordinary average. Markram was supposed to be the guy the team bat around. That ship has sailed too. At this point, we should probably make Kagiso the skipper and roll the dice on a fresh start with batters.
