Quinton de Kock (captain, wicketkeeper), *Temba Bavuma, Faf du Plessis, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Pite van Biljon, Dwaine Pretorius, Andile Phehlukwayo, Jon-Jon Smuts, Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi, Lungi Ngidi, Bjorn Fortuin, Anrich Nortje, Dale Steyn, Heinrich Klaasen

*Bavuma’s selection is depende nt on the results of an MRI scan of his right hamstring that he will undergo during the course of the day.

I highlighted the players that should NOT be in the squad,   They failed against England and will fail against Auustralia as well.   Van Biljon did not play in a single game against England - why is he still in the squad?

It is clear as daylight that the lunacy of the selection committee is still in full swing and neither Smith nor Boucher has a say in the selection process

Clearly Boucher is either stupid or under the thumb still picking that squad

Dave because they were totally poor in the English T20's.   Forgot to highlight Faf.

Dave you are welcome to your own opinion.

The three games are played as follows:-

21 February     -    Wanderers

23 February     -     St Georges Park

26  February    -     Newlands

The latest news is that  Bavuma is out with a muscle  tear injury, but I think he may be out for the whole series played  over a 6 day period.

That leaves open  the question as to who would open the batting with De Kock,  It could be Du Plessis - wrong choice to be in the squad anyway - or Van der Dussen,
