Just one question though - is cricket a a cpode o sport taking root in he USA? There are 5,2 million people of Indan origin lving in the USA.

I had a look at the USA team today against Inda made up of -

  1. 9 players of Indian origin; and
  2. 2 players of South African origin,

The population of Indian and South African origin people in the USA is more than the population of New Zealand are moe an the population of for isnatnce New Zealand.

Nice to see the top order performing, think KG, Maharaj and Marco Jansen weren't at their best.

Bowlers if they don't get their line right are going to struggle.

What an embarrassing last over from SA

The game was close, lot's of drama, but we should never have gone to a super over

Shocking bowling from Rabada in that last over, yet he created the super over with a very very close run out from the last ball

Let's see what happens

Bloody hell, madness

What a fucking game, Afghanistan were chasing 24 to win in the Super... Super over

After 3 sixes, we were one ball away from a Super...Super....Super over

I'm not surprised, below is what I said after the first game.

Maharaj and Marco Jansen weren't at their best.

Bowlers if they don't get their line right are going to struggle.

Possibly the best T20 game I have ever seen... from a neutral standpoint.

Every single over was an eposide on its own.

However.... this did it for me:

"Bowlers if they don't get their line right are going to struggle."

Thats like saying, if they don't run fast, you won't win the race.

Great insight.

'.....from a neutral standpoint.'

How could you possibly claim to be neutral when you support a South African team and a South African team is involved?

And it's episode you Moron not 'eposide.'

Thanks though for another 'insightful contribution'

And another OBTW Sewer Mouth.....happy with your work on Dave, Huh? Any more supposedly funny jibes about his mother? Or photos of his late family? I'm sure you'll get us another poster to fill his place, no sense depending on you for a contribution......you know F/all.

Oh and just one more OBTW, any more attempts at hacking my account? Afterall your first attempt proved to be highly successful.

DDS has got you by the short hairs Grrrrrr.

Now F/off!

That catch by Stubbs was epic….2 inches higher he can’t make it. Two inches longer and he is on the boundary…2 micro seconds later in the in bounds toss and his foot is over the boundary….hell 2 sizes larger a shoe and he was toast. And no catch the Proteas were toast

The Proteas’ fielding is, as always, absolutely epic.

Their greatest strength so far.

Can’t wait for the NZ game; I reckon it’ll give the boys a huge boost of confidence if they pull off a win.

BB are you getting up for the game, it's at an inconvenient hour. I hate watching replays but I might have to.

The game against NZ will tell us a lot more about where the Proteas are at although there's a few positives they'll take into the game. The one big positive is that the top order is putting it together, Rickleton is in a better mental state than he was on his previous visit to India a few months ago. Our middle order with Stubbs and Miller look solid. Miller is showing strong leadership qualities.

Brevis needs to come to the party, he's just an innings away from gaining true form.

Our bowling attack is a worry, with Nortje struggling to take wickets and Rabada finding it hard to hit form. Maharaj’s performances seem to be improving, though. Bowling on slow Indian pitches with small fields and batsman-friendly boundaries requires a specific approach—get it wrong, and you’ll be punished. If it’s in the arc, it’s in the park.

The Super 8 groups are not very well balanced. On current form, group 1 (India, Windies, South Africa and one other) is way stronger than group 2 (England, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka).

India, Windies and SA look the three best sides at the tournament and they're all in the same group.
