I was thinking about the number of SA born players playing for other countries at the CWC and wondered if we could pick an entire team? Let's see . . .

1. Dawid Malan (England)

2. Jason Roy (England)

3. Devon Conway (New Zealand)

4. Marnus Labuschagne (Australia)

5. Glenn Phillips (New Zealand) (WK)

6. Roelof van der Merwe (Netherlands)

7. Sybrandt Engelbrecht (Netherlands)

8. Colin Ackerman (Netherlands)

9. Ryan Klein (Netherlands)

10. ?

11. ?

Short two bo wlers (any suggestions?) but a pretty good side I reckon. Not too many sides with a better batting top 5 than that.

Gritty New Zealand pace bowler Neil Wagner has achieved a career-best No 2 world ranking.

The workhorse of the struggling Black Caps bowling attack has been rewarded for his outstanding effort in the heavy defeat to Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Left-armer Wagner moved up one place to be second in the new world test rankings that are headed by outstanding Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins.
