The Titans - Dolphins Final 4-day game

The match has been effected by rain and the second day there were little play.   Anyway the Dolphins made 275 runs and the Titans then had to bat.   They made an all=time low of 53 runs,   Markram was not playing and thus unable to rescue the Titans, 

The highest score recorded  by a Tians player was 16 runs made by Elgar.   His cataincy was poor and partly responsible for the disastrously low score.    The Titans must now follow on.   They must really hope for rain tomorrow to aoid a thorough disgrace, 

So let see where the Titans go today,             

The Dolphins won the final  in effectively a  two-day match  by an innings and 76  runs,.

The Titans was captained by Dean Elgar - who made a major contribution  to the disaster,   Elgar made a total of 26 runs in two innings -  but what was much worse is the fact that his bowling changes and field placings were  disastrous as well.      

The Proteas will suffer with a captain that should not be in the team at all.      

What a poor final it was

Dolphins scored under 300... but won by an innings.

Really poor poor expose' of our depth pool.

The dregs were in both teams.   Fact is we got a severe problem - we have much better batsmen that is not in the Proteas team than those who are in the team,   One only has to look at the following:-

Markram - who did not play in the final -  Rickelton, Roelofse, Van Tonder, Verreynne and M Ackerman are all better batsmen than the present duds in the Proteas team..         

Agree with the above. Just not sure about Ackerman yet.
He needs more consistency.

Also, you need to learn how to spell "Verreynne"
