The Proteas in pink were a disappointing sight today. With the ball moving a bit none of our bats were willing to build an innings….play down the line. There was too much of the front foot across the line and a plethora of good lbw shouts.
Why we have so little regard for our traditional green beats me….playing in pink is a new thing unfortunately started by the Bools. The Proteas looked just as silly in blushing pink. Surely a zippy alternative could be found in a shade of green.
Some fine young players in that Indian lineup with a number of elegant batsmen. Listening to the feed the match might as well have been in New Delhi, such was the joyous support for a professional Indian performance.
