According to a recent report from AS, Chelsea have joined the race to try and sign Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu.
While Leicester may not have had the kind of campaign they were dreaming of, a semi-final appearance in the Conference League alongside an eighth-place finish in the Premier League is a whole lot more promising than it was looking just a few months ago.
Soyuncu has played a big role in that and as a direct result, he’s a wanted man with a parde of clubs being interested in taking a look at him this summer.
That’ll now include Chelsea, and while that would usually mean they’re at the top of the list with respect to the name value of the club, they’re got some real competition this time.
Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester City are all in the running with the latter of the three reportedly already having a bid prepared.
