According to a recent report from Sport, a ‘summit’ will be held on Tuesday regarding Chelsea’s possible signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
While the possibility of a deal being struck with the former Arsenal forward has been on the table for a few weeks now, Barcelona and Chelsea seemingly haven’t come to an official agreement regarding his departure from the Nou Camp.
Now, with so little time remaining in the summer transfer window, plenty of questions are going to be asked regarding the Blues’ ability to sign a forward – and whether or not Aubameyang fits the bill.
The veteran striker is believed to have caused some issues for the club when he left the Emirates and while he was a real force during his Premier League prime, you have to wonder whether or not those days have been and gone for him.
Either way, an important few days lie ahead for all parties involved.
