Yesssssssssssss!
After all the drama, Spurs are through to the semis of the UEFA Champions League!
That was incredible. 4-3 to City on the night but 4-4 on aggregate and Spurs go through on the away goals rule.
If you missed it, you missed one of the most epic games of football ever played. Pure drama and entertainment from start to finish . . . no more so than right at the end.
Raheem Sterling scored what looked like a winner in injury time and the City players and fans were celebrating as if they'd won the World Cup but VAR stepped in and correctly overruled the goal for offside. What a let off! What a game!!!

Spurs players after Sterling's extra time "winner" . . .
Seconds later, Toby Aldeweireld and Tottenham's captain and Man of the Match Hugo Lloris celebrate after VAR overruled the goal (correctly) for offside . . .

Spurs were incredibly lucky tonight. Unlike the home game Spurs defence was totally porous and lacking energy. Rose and Trippier had awful games and Vertonghen wasn't much better tonight.
Spurs can thank Song who was always dangerous and tireless in defence.
Still a solid first leg set up the win.....and the new stadium will now see it's first great occasion. Unfortunately Song won't be playing in the first semi.
