….it ended on a huge down note. Once again the review seemed correct but that wasn’t clear to any human. So we now need software to watch the game. The massive high of the Croatian supporters was crushed by the technology.
Having come so far we can’t go back, but it needs to be instantaneous, the delay, the ponderous review….it’s killing the joy of the game. You can never really celebrate a try or a goal in the moment.
And the Croatians played fabulous direct football, the most unlucky losers so far.
