According to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, all is well between himself and Mohamed Salah as contract talks continue.
At this moment in time, Liverpool Football Club are attempting to lock Mohamed Salah down to a new contract. In recent weeks there’s been some speculation that he may not be interested in signing on the dotted line but given how well he’s been performing for the club so far this season, you’d have to think they’re still in with a decent chance.
Liverpool are still competing on three different fronts and given that they’ve already captured the League Cup, the confidence must be pretty high within the red half of Merseyside.
Klopp knows better than anyone that this is a marathon, not a sprint, though, and getting Salah’s contract sorted is of the highest priority.
It doesn’t expire until June 2023 but with the summer transfer window approaching, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
