Arsenal defensive midfielder Thomas Partey wants to leave in the summer transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Partey has told Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta that he wants to leave, and the Gunners are open to offloading him.
Juventus are reportedly interested in signing former Atletico Madrid star Partey, and so do clubs in Saudi Arabia. While Arsenal are willing to let the midfielder go this summer, they want a decent transfer fee. Partey wants to leave Arsenal because he does not want to play second fiddle.
Partey has had injury problems during his time at Arsenal, but he was brilliant for the North London club for most of last season. The Arsenal no. 5 made 28 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, scoring three goals in the process. Partey also made six substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League for Arsenal last season.
