When I was informed of this I was actually on a fishing trip off Alaska with a group of Saffers and my wife contacted me on a question relating to my business and then informed me of this admission by Hansie.

I'm not sure where I was but I do remember my disbelief when the story broke.....I dismissed it as BS, my captain, no, not my Hansie, it couldn't be, there had to be a mistake. But then came the enquiry and the admission and the tears.....it became all a bit too much so I stopped taking an interest. I don't know what troubled me more, his guilt or seeing him crying.
Cricket has never been the same since then, something had changed, without mentioning any names I remember one poster who said he'll never watch the game again.
