....because of rampant sex abuse in Chile. But it's a bit like those Nazi movies where all the freedom fighters step forward to accept blame......the gesture hides the real monsters. And in that group there are several broadly accused men.
The Catholic Church simply can't take this problem seriously, perhaps because it's been such a big part of the life style.
Another unnatural arrangement, which has to create positive selection for men who are inclined in this direction.

In South Africa, religious people call themselves Christians. (believers in Christianity).However, Catholics are Christians, as are Protestants also Christians. Both religions are part of Christianity. There are other Christian religions including Anglican and Orthodox, but Catholic and Protestants are the majority. In Europe, Christian heritage people are usually identified as Catholic OR Protestant. Catholic is the largest Christian religion
Protestants are on average less religious than Catholics, and also statistically smarter and richer than Catholics. This does raise questions if religion is a crock of crap, because if religion was true- surely the more religious people would be smarter and richer- not the other way around.
This along with the Catholics (part of Christianity) been exposed as the biggest organisation of child rape in human history, raises further questions about the validity of religion.
In the Bible, there is a famous story where a lawyer asks Jesus who will go to heaven. Jesus says only good people. He does not say people that go to Church go to heaven. It is a similar message to the story of the Good Samaritan where a non-religious person proves that he is a better person than the religious people that left the victim to die. The moral of these stories is that your actions are your beliefs, not your religious associations.

Congrats on joining the grand dads club Sader. Little buggers make life a lot more lively.
Fox news has it's partisans. But all the 'warriors' on Hannity have turned out to be much closer to the truth than CNN. Bad things happened.....and that doesn't include collusion with Russia.
But the fact is Fox is a necessary balance...CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC and regretfully the BBC are all hopelessly invested in one view, which is in lock step. But for Fox many nefarious acts would never see the light of day.
It's unfortunate that one group of nutters have to be balanced by another group of nutters.....but that seems to be the nature of things.
