Being so concerned about my friend from Kiwi land, i thought perhaps i should give him a cause to fight for. As you know, a man without purpose is the most inefficient machine that exists. Alcohol ruins lives. From being directly responsible for the deaths of millions each year to the secondary ills of ruining families, relationships and businesses. There is hardly a person alive that hasn’t been touched in some way by the negative effects of booze. The very clear solution is to ban all alcohol. Sader, i think that you should start a campaign to ban all alcohol in New Zealand. You’ll have my full support. No more arguing about things that may or may not exist. Let’s rid the world of a tangible and present evil that has plagued humanity since we first invented it. After all, you believe what you see and you act on what you see. And i know you see all the evils of alcohol.

Bugger off alcohol like many other things is fine in moderation. Why penalize the many for the few that have no control.

Hell I can as easily argue that religion ruins millions of lives so maybe we should ban that as well, fuck it lets ban everything because nothing taken in excess is good for you.

By the way I know your just trying to wind me up because you like the idea if I was a soak and that helps you explain why somebody couldn't possibly believe in a god. If it helps you get through the day keep on thinking that, doesn't bother me

Banning alcohol has been tested and it was a disaster. All it did was create the Mafia of the back of the most powerful illegal industry in the world. Remember Al Capone...


Just like banning prostitution just creates the opportunity for the mob to grow through illegal industry. You can suppress legal supply, but you can't suppress illegal demand.

Haha you lot are too easy. I’m not for banning anything. Were it up to me, i’d legalise most narcotics too. I’ve said so here before. It’s just a case of pointing out to Sader that while he’s ranting about Christianity, an industry(because that’s what it largely is) that predominantly contributes positively to the world these days, he is supporting an industry that has very far reaching negative affects. Isn’t it peculiar state of mind when you willingly, or through addiction, ruin your body and deprive your love one’s of years with you while at the same time looking down you nose at religious people?

You are supporting an industry that has very far reaching negative affects (Christianity, and don't say it's not a business it's the largest money making business in the world)

Isn't it amazing you are prepared to waste your life and deprive your children of  free thought all the time looking down on someone sitting down to a cold beer at the end of the day.
