A real bad ass(Audie Murphy)

Incredible story of what was surely one the bravest me to have ever lived.

Anyone who did military service in SA knows who Audie Murphy is.

He was something of a legend in the SADF. Sergeants would often shout things like "Moenie daai Audie Murphy kak probeer" or "Is jy nou fokken Audie Murphy, troep?". We soon found out who Audie Murphy was. I bet anyone around my age who did national service reading this will be smiling and nodding his head right now.

I stumbled on that channel. I'm not sure if the story is exaggerated or what but it's hard to believe a person like that even existed.

Also watched one of his on the Finish sniper...White Death. Another small guy that was a total beast.

One common thread that I notice with a lot of these chaps is that they were all hunters and trappers growing up. No wonder the English struggled so badly against the Boers.
