Elon Musk an okie from Pretoria has just passed Jeff Bezos to become the richest chap on the planet. There will be a movie about this okie.

Tesla has been a great ride this year.....thanks to Elon and the Climate nutters. Thanks also to Bloom Energy, Albemarle and Solaredge Technologies.

Moffie, I'm pretty sure Elon Musk doesn't measure a man by his wealth the way you do (in your inimitable pompous and self-aggrandizing manner anyway) but well done to him. He's an entrepreneurial genius, he's imaginative and he's very bold.

And I’m sure he doesn’t measure a man by his poverty as you do Peeper. Given how often  Elon has manipulated his stock I would say he was very interested in his own wealth. So much so that he was effectively put under supervision. But of course you never knew that and believe all the public relations material....what a fool you are!

Elon Musk makes me envious...It seems bizarre that someone can enter an industry with no experience, and be better than people who have specialised in one industry their whole lives.
One minute it is Paypal, next cars, then rockets, satellites- and before long the next moment be is better than NASA.
Even if the competition catches up with his cars on the roads, by then his cars will probably be able to fly.
And they will be solar-powered or using the air, while all being controlled from his Mars colony and satellites across the solar system.

Nah they’ll be using lithium batteries, which is why Albemarle, a major lithium miner is going up every day. But there is a new battery out which supposedly outperforms the Tesla batteries. Bringing it to market will take a long time though.

A year ago I read about a battery that charges from flat to full in just over one minute. Though it was only a cellphone battery.

Wait until Starlink gets going proper.

...guys gonna change the world.

Imagine if Trump said this....

‘I’m getting wildly different results from different labs. But most likely I have a moderate case of Covid. My symptoms  are those of a minor  cold, which is not surprising as coronavirus  is basically a type of cold.’

Musk did.
