After swerious consieration of the Situation

I have decided on the following:-

*    I apologize for any hurt caused by personal attacks made and will refrain from it in future.   

*    Any personal attacks made on me will be ignored by me - so stop it please.

*    I will not comment on hate campaigns and degrading on the image of players or coaches other than to make some corrections if appropriate.

*    All matters relating to my personal opinion of present players will be set out in detail and I will maintain that approach.

*    Bearing in mind the NZ members on site - I will still go on fishing expeditions insofar as NZ rugby  is concerned and will defend them against insults from other quarters - even though in the case of Beeno it would be an exercise in futility.  

*    Members who are not participating in any fantasy competition must please refrain from participation in those threads  other than queries on team selection.

I will try and keep to the above and stay away from constant attacks on certain players by other members so as  to avoid the nastiness that occurred constantly over the past three months.      

Glad you did this Mike...most of us here like you, including myself...your devotion to rugby is welcome and you do have indepth insights that some fail to acknowledge but keep it without personal attacks and all of us will be happy...personally you never attacked me but it left a blemish on your character when you lost it.

Mike, none of that is necessary.

You don't need to defend yourself more than anybody else here.

Just state your cad and agree to disagree when necessary.

Most have a queer judgement of restitution here...Mike has admiited his faults which is a good streak in him...others tend to mock him and others were not brought up with decency and taught humility values...well done Mike in advance but keep to your word...the vulchures here who don't like old world decency will see this as weakness...don't budge to the peasants and proletriat.

Mike don't take all this trouble. Any idea you are solely to blame is absurd. if somebody goes after you feel free to return the compliment. Who cares what anybody here thinks after all!

As for the kiwi boneheads riling them up is about half the fun! Always love how they protest their innocence regardless of the facts. Nobody is more smug than ou JW. Hilarious.Hahahahahahha

Great you didn't decide to leave, however, what lessons have been learned? Let's go back to his leaving post:

2 Good players are bad, bad players good (he never criticises good players, everyone else does)

3 Ball protection and recovery are not important (other members are too stupid to value ball security)

4 There is no such thing as a bad kick (only Clever Mike values good kicks)

This is pretty insulting. Deciding to leave and then do it by slinging a bit of mud at those he couldn't argue with. That's not good. And then more sob stories, reinforcing the victim complex. Not good. He personally sought me out and attacked me. I've seen that he called members out with disrespectful thread titles. This is not good. I don't get this at all.

Overall, members leaving is bad. Nobody wants that. I mean, the forum will die and where do we go from there? Everyone has something to contribute even if  they aren't the most astute minds on the game (there are many ways to enjoy a sport and discuss it), but Clever Mike needs to learn to have some respect for other people too. He won't accept he is ever wrong, and makes it worse by insulting people when he gets found one. Beeno, if Clever Mike deserves the platform to stick up for himself, then what about the people he attacks? The way this is being spun is not going to help the forum. I'm probably on my own in seeing this, so take it with a grain if salt. I personally didn't insult Clever Mike and I'd like it if we can all get along a bit better. Life is too short for this kind of nonsense. 

No Lurker, the sarcasm didn't escape me either. There was more in a later post in that thread that was an even worse and more clear insult to the entire board, but as you say, life's too short. Time to move on.

Luker, some oaks don't know how to behave decently like you and i We also have second hand car salesman, snake oil types here like ou JW trying to deceive the board.

Error abounds. Lots to contend with!
