This 61 year NY man came from Iran as boy back in 1979. He is a US citizen but goes back from time to time to visit family. Last year he was over there and completely out of the blue placed on an exit ban. His passport and phone were taken. After the action against Iran nuclear sites last year, he was arrested, for visiting Israel 15 years ago and has now been accused of espionage. His fate is precarious.

Just a bloke who cares for family and still has affection for his country, if not the regime.

I guess he must be one of the people that VisKop claims hates the West anyway and doesn't deserve to be helped.

The Iranian woman's football team...such West haters too.

The Iranian woman's football team...such West haters too.

Crazy to see some rumours floating around that the players were told that their families were being held hostage... to force them to return back to Iran and not claim asylum ....

Not sure what happens to the 7 families of those players that stayed back and claimed Asylum, if that were ever to be true

Facing waves of armed public dissent and anger, the Republic of Iran is in a struggle for its integrity and legitimacy. The death of Mahsa Amini, who was killed at the hands of the Iranian morality police for allegedly wearing her hijab incorrectly, served as the catalyst event among young Iranians who took to the streets, demanding justice and decrying the regime. Despite widespread government suppression of this movement through the use of media bans, executions, and mass imprisonment of protestors, Generation Z (Gen Z) has refused to back down for the last four months; they are insisting on political rights for those who have suffered at the hands of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. In comparison to the Green Movement in 2009, Gen Zers have the technological and educational assets necessary to progress this revolutionary moment and make sustainable historical change.

Just so we're clear, you guys believe that Bozo is waging war against Iran because the Iranian government is so bad and he wants the people to have freedom?

Not exactly. I believe Trump thinks Iran is a destabilizing force in the ME, which is the practical reason to remove them. The moral reason is they are a repressive regime which is culpable for many innocent deaths.

The same argument to some degree applies to Russia. But there are two differences, Russia has nuclear weapons. The effect that has is a caution with respect to Iran’s obvious ambitions to be a nuclear power.

Secondly Russians are not driven by an implacable religious belief that always supersedes temporal loyalties. So a second or third generation Muslim male of normal parents can be radicalized and this is demonstrated again and again, most recently at the NY marathon. Which provides a glimmer of hope that Russia under future leaders could become a constructive country.

…..

  1. Motivation: Authorities allege Balat was inspired by ISIS, stating he pledged allegiance to the Islamic State and expressed a desire to create an attack "even bigger" than the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
  2. Background: Balat is a resident of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and a senior at Neshaminy High School. He is a U.S. citizen whose parents were born in Turkey.

Maybe Trump should break this guy out of jail in Iran, and then bring him back to America.

He will be safer later on in an ICE jail in America. Perhaps bomb some schools and then deny it.

In a country where women are stoned to death whenever they are accused of adultery or they wear the hibab incorrectly you love or the regime you try and protect is a joke in bad taste,

@DumbMike,

My policy on the Middle East is very simple: non-intervention.

I think the Middle East has a right to self-determination, and the West should not interfere with that.

I also prefer people from the Middle East to remain in the Middle East. I am not first in line to welcome illegal refugees on the boat.

America has a minimum wage of $7 dollars per hour, despite having many of the richest people in the world. That is slave labour.

Should the rest of the world attack America for this atrocity?

The only military action I support against the Middle East is if they attack first.

Making up nonsense like Iran was two weeks away from using nuclear weapons is just lies

A mechanically lesser part as drugs traders are now registered as terrorists. This will change the ranking amongst terrorists and maybe leads to emulation, who knows...

"You don't know this as fact, neither do I"

So then are you prepared to admit your hero is a liar?

Did Bozo not say to the whole world in 2025 that he had "obliterated" Iran's nuclear capability?

Can just one Trunpanzee please admit that that was a lie? Just one?
