I'm tired of this anti- Russian propaganda by countries that are jealous, fearful and spiteful of Russia...the west are fools and easily led by news reports...at least fanatic Beeno sees this...incidently I think Beeno sees things that most don't but has no skill in putting his points across.

So we can put you down for "just a coincidence, nothing to see here" vote then.

Your exactly like beendip in there is only news that supports your view and ignore everything else because you dont want to know.

I am not pro or anti russia i just think the new stalin has blood on his hands because to many of his opponents conveniently turn up dead.

The new Stalin is not russia he is just a man.

Is it something in the SA waterthat that makes  you and beendip  fall to your knees and worship these politicians like gods?

You two remind me of a line out of Monty Pythons Flying Circus "life of Brian" where John Cleese states "He is the messiah And I should know I have followed a few"

If you read the article, it is clear that they allege that Putin wanted him assassinated...quite possible...only thing is, IMO the Ukrainian government is just as dirty as they make the Russians out to be. Who can we believe in this case?

Give a dog a bad name and hang him...as the saying goes.

Speculations and assumptions are not facts and not truth...the only truth is that none of us know and jump to conclusions based on distortions.

No Sader I don't idolise any man and certainly am aware of the evil that has always existed in mankind.

I just don't judge without facts...news reports are never facts and only the very naive and non-thinkers follow them.

I'm certainly don't idolise Putin or Trump but neither do I anybody...a man is innocent until proven guilty and yes we are all guilty of sin  in some way or other maybe to a lesser degree.

Incidentally can anybody here after many decades pin point who assasinated JFK...CIA ? maybe, Lee Harvey Oswald?..Lyndon B Johnson ?.truthfully no one could gamble his life on it...are the Americans also evil like the Russians...ofcourse both are NOT...sometimes we have a tendancy to judge without any real evidence...thankfully none of us will ever be jurors with integrity in a court of law.

Stalin was evil that's a fact...he was a murderer...even killed those closest to him...there is evidence...the Road of Bones to Magadan, etc.

To compare Mr Putin to Stalin is very stupid and nonsense....there is not even the remotest similarity...you obviously do not know history...Stalin was not Russian at all he was Georgian, Stalin was born Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili[ in the Georgian town of Gori[

An apology for what, the fact I believed a news article? More fool me but I remember a day when the news was full of truth. Mind you in this instance the journalists are not at fault either as they reported the facts as at the time.

As far as calling Putin Stalin I think the shoe still fits I find it hard to believe the man does not have blood on his hands. Mind you he is nowhere near the levels  that Stalin reached but in this day and age I doubt Putin would get away with the genocide on such a scale nor do I believe that Putin is capable of such acts.

What relivance is the fact Stalin wasn't russian, does that mean you cannot compare people unless they are born in the same country. People can compare Pol Pot to Hitler and they are from differnt countries  but for some reason we cant compare Putin to Stalin because you say so?

Putin is consolidating his power by force, exactly the same thing that Stalin did therefore the comparrison can be made
