Last night I had some drinks with another friend of mine who invited an American couple along, and this couple were out here for their 3rd holiday because the husband has family here.

I was absolutely blown away by how much they enjoy South Africa and actually want to move here

They said that they would move here tomorrow if they could, but that they have some things in the US that is keeping them there currently

I asked what the main factor was to moving here, and they said it was the people, the weather, the cultures and the food.

We are so lucky, even with all the bad that surrounds us.

To get weather as lovely as CT or even Johannesburg you have to put up with the California culture. Still there’s always Athens.
