I take modern medicine any day too, but there are a lot of so called snakeoil salesmen working for big pharma too...it takes years to properly test vaccines...rushing the job to stop the pandemic might have unintended negative repercussions.
As for modern meds. Most people won't buy a Chinese car, but they take meds and vacs made in China without knowing. Remember the faulty PPE from China a few months ago?
A few years ago, lots of dogs died here due to contaminated ingredients in the food. Expensive brand of dog food...well, guess where the contaminated ingredients came from.
The free market only works if there's proper oversight. Too much corruption these days and too much money involved to be sure of anything. ..and if it is forced on you by the government, supplied or paid for by the government you can almost bet your house that some palms were greased.

No what I am saying is given the choice of either taking natural cures only or modern pharmaceuticals I would pick modern pharmaceuticals.
