As an over 80 geriatric I may still be mentally up to date - but my old body does not like cold weathe and I et muscle Psins in winter, We are not in winter yet - according to normal situations winte starts in June in SA and goe through to August, However at the end of April and in May it felt extra cold in our area and the SA weather sevices warned in early May that snowfall is threatening in the interior and mountainopus areas in the Western Cape Provvince, I ordered wood at the end of April for the winter season. for the fireplace and inside braai in the lounge in my House - it was and is bloody cold,

Cape Town is in a winter rainfall region and heavty rain before winter is not regular - this year they had to cncel a number of race meetings because the coiurses were two wet, And yeserday my friend Denny comlained of erious floodng in Australia, Mozart complained about it be bitter cold in the USA. It started of being extra cold in the USA - for the first time in many years the presidntial inauguration moved to insde te capital ecause Wahington was so cold it could not be held outdoors, were moved indoors/

I watch sport events on TV and when ennis player tuurn up dressed in long sleeve tracksuits and spectaoes are dressed in winer cliothing it means it is not what is to be expected in late spring time in Rome last week and in Hamburg and Geneva tis eek it eans it is cold when Summer is just a matter of 2 weeks before June it seems as cold weather remained with thema nd they dress accordingly.

So where are we today other than what I believe nature control temperatures and weather on earth - not scientists - and that human beans themselves can do very little to control weather. .

Although I know I'm wasting my time explaining this to you, global cooling was a theory proposed by some climate scientists back in the 70's and 80's. At the time it existed alongside the theory of global warming. The science and the evidence around the topic was a lot less settled back then, and there was a debate around whether increased cloud cover would reflect more of the suns energy thus cooling the planet of if more cloud cover would trap more heat.

However among climate scientists the proponents of global warming vastly outnumbered the proponents of global cooling with far more scientific papers being published supporting the concept of global warming than the other way round. So while there was a debate at the time it was clear which side the majority of climate scientists were on. The debate needless to say has been settled by the fact that temperature readings have shown the planet to be warming. As a result the scientists who had supported the theory of global cooling dropped it as the evidence simply didn't support the theory, which is the correct way of doing science. You base your conclusions on the evidence, you don't twist evidence to meet pre-conceived conclusions.

So when you say the same scientists who predicted global cooling are now predicting global warming, you are of course grossly misrepresenting the situation.

Climate scientists are totally devoted to doomsday forecast and the more they forecast the more money they made out of it. Their doomsday forecasts found huge support from leftwing politcians and they start spendiing endless amounts on projects that never deliver what is needed.

Shit like cows by farting is causing global warming that BS they apply in Europe and try to do so in the USA - but if they try that stunt in Africa and India they would be dead within 24 hours, So we must use sun and wind electricity - but in the long run it does not even replace the other means of electricity provision - istead of using a cleaner form of electircity provision - namely nuclear energy, The real problem is the more shit they built the more electricity costs for users increase. In germany the conomy is in recession since 2022 and the consumers suffer as a result.

The more Gvernments apply shit to the spending of endless amounts on projects that does not really deliver the goods - the longer countries will struggle economically, That is why Europe is on the way down economically and the people needs are neglected by Governments and in mighty Germany people are now looking in waste bins to find food,

The fact is there are things that can help cleaning up the environment and make all better and does not iclude wasteful and fruitless expnditure that should be a priority and money should not be wasted on theoretical projects that in the end failed to deliver what it was intended to deliver, Leftists just love doomsday forecast and thive on it - but they believe in their theories and to hell with the plebs who makes up most of the populations in their countries, If they suffer - they deserve to suffer.

There is no such thing as a global temperature. Just an average of various readings and the components of the average are constantly adjusted. Now if you’re a weatherman, who has suddenly become a ‘climate scientist’ would you find for global warming?

All the studies and the data itself is a matter of choice.

Nobody knows. All we know is 40% of claimed warming occurred before man made CO2 was 5% of what it is today. So something else caused that warming.

I believe in the Chicago thesis. It’s sits in the center of one of the world’s largest land masses, so not affected by El Niño…..representative of a very large sample.

And we have had one 100 degree F day in the last 12 years. In the 80s Chicago had 12 hundred degree days. Curious.

Now weather noobs who have never heard of sampling will come up with ‘the weather is cold where I live’ woke rebuttal. But this is a time series in a representative land mass. And it’s not an average, with weighting changes.

There are lots of effects on temperature…aerosols for example suppressed warming and then their absence accelerated it. And believe it or not, solar output does affect temperatures. No doubt CO2 is a Greenhouse gas, but teasing it’s effect out of the pea soup of other variables is not as simple as ascribing the whole increase in temps since the Industrial Revolution to man made CO2 emissions.

And are we really sure the planet is worse off with 2 degrees of warming. Have you seen any honest effort to assess the pluses and minuses. It’s all emotion and religious fervor.

I don't ignore/disregard/deny the problem of human contribution to climate change...I have a problem with the alleged impact, the projected results as well as the measures presented to curb or reduce the effects...I also believe humanity have way worse effects on the environment than carbon or methane emissions...yet we see verry little being done in comparison to reduce the pollution of our oceans...especially plastics, mercury and sulfates...probably not enough money in it for the politicians...it is indeed a spoof and the "$cience" worshippers are to faithful to notice the inconsistencies in the religion.
