Matthew has 27 generations between David and Joseph while Luke has 42. They don't even agree on Jospeh's father with Matthew saying- it was Jacob and Luke saying it was Heli.

Even if we stretch our imagination and pretend one of the versions is correct and there's still some gtey involved, what has Jospeh's genealogy got to do with anything? If Mary was a virgin and God was Jesus's real father, what  do Jospeh's genes have to do with anything?
