It all depends on when you start measuring. Obama was handed the best gift a new President can get, an economy at the lowest of low points. There was only one direction ....up. The disappointment was how tepid the recovery was. His tax increases in 2013 were a depressant to the economy.

But the truth is Obama had no economic beliefs....he delegated all that. So to credit him with anything economic  is disingenuous.

Trump by contrast got the economy after 8 years of expansion, albeit tepid. Most bull markets are over after 8 years. It took some real skill to create the superb growth we have enjoyed under Trump....and unlike Obama, Trump has been up to his elbows in the economy. He has pushed deregulation, tax reform and pushed the Fed to act early.....and he has been right in every instance.

Obama is out there laying claim to the economy, when he said earlier it would take a magic wand to improve his economy. Well improve it he did and Obama’s understanding of the whole thing is about at the ‘magic wand’ level.

Sharkclown crashes and burns yet again!

The four pillars of Trump' s success - tax cuts, deregulation, Energy independence and trade deals. He has also shrunk government departments

Hussein over regulated, doubled the national debt, outsourced factories and jobs, wouldn't use American energy and accepted hugely damaging trade conditions. So much so that it is obvious he deliberately tried to sabotage America as had the preceding US presidents.

What people do not realize is the paralyzing effect over-regulation has on the economy  pf any country.   There are in particular two aspects that needs to be borne in mind, namely -

*    the multitude of the applications which is to be made to  start up a new business or industrial development, often prescribed by different Government Departments and local authorities and especially the cost involved and time wasted in the effort;

*    every regulation issued is worthless unless properly administered and we get this useless situation of growth in manpower needs in the event of a multitude of regulations being promulgated - a further problem is that in the main those public servants have no idea of private sector requirements to function efficiently - this routinely lead to delays in finalizing applications.

Have you ever asked yourself  what is RED TAPE and where did it originate and the answer is always the same -  implications of laws and regulations on management of the economy,              .

The point of that video shows that Trump has actually not improved GDP, but he has taken away civil service such as public health care. The Trumpanzee is talking about all of the improvements, but everyone else is asking what are they? It is only Trump and the Trumpanzees saying America is great again.
Trumps amazing trade deals are average at best. He took about 2 years to finalise anything with China. At one stage he said he was not even sure there would be a trade deal agreed with China. As it stands the first phase of this deal is no improvement than what was previously in place. China still has sanctions against them- so nothing has actually be achieved. It is a stalemate, and the first "phase" of the deal is just a compromise to boost the US economy by trading with China again.

There is no deal with Europe. Trump has stated that Europe is harder to deal with than China, so it looks like there will be no deal with Europe.
Europe is also trying to negotiate a worldwide standard for international sales tax. American monopolies (anti-capitalism) are lying cheating pigs and cant be trusted to pay tax on profit.  Amazon claims to have made no profit in Europe... However, as America don't want to negotiate an international tax standard, it has left the EU with no option but to force through a digital tax on revenue.   Trump has threatened a trade war with Europe, but how many wars can they be in.
Trump's blackmailing business tactics do not go down well, and if America wants to continue this stuff post-Trump- then other countries should create deals against America.
America's monopolies have made home devices like Alexa, Siri etc which apparently record conversations in peoples houses -  for marketing purposes and who knows what else.
There has also been considerable tracking done on mobile devices which have complete disregard for privacy.  If these companies are left to do as they please, they will eventually only be a few companies in the whole world. So legislation can be important, to ensure that competition exists- which is the whole point of capitalism.
The deal with Mexico paying for the wall, well we all know how that panned out... The wall itself is a joke.

You are so far up Trump's arse it is sickening. You might be the number one non-American Trumpanzee in the world.

If Trump had sermons, you would go to Church to worship him.

SB

What Public Health Care did Trump take away?   What he did was to try and repair the flawed Obama Care BS by proclaiming regulations reducing the cost of medicine.  He submitted a law to replace Obama Care with a proper Health Care Law - but it was sabotaged by the late Senator McCain.

Listen Obama sold out US interests in the Pacific Trade Agreement and in NAFTA and Trump scrapped both.   The two  deals of  Obama caused massive unemployment in the USA and jobs were exported by the thousands. The present Trade Deals to replace those two deals benefit all the countries involved and not only China, Japan, Canada and Mexico.   The NAFTA replacement Treaty is so good that idiot Pelosi claims the DP did the deal.

I am quite happy that Trump is playing hardball with the EU countries and also with NATO.  They have for years not made their contractually obligated contribution to NATO and expected the USA to make up the difference,   He forced them to maker the contribution or he will withdraw the US troops  from  Europe and they suddenly started obliging with the Treaty establishing NATO.

The EU is  trying to implement tariffs on American imports and he told France - you continue and he would do the same on French wine.    As to anything else - the EU must ensure their members act uniformly and comply with conditions and you yourself wrote that Ireland is doing the dirty on other EU countries.

It is amazing that you believe CNN when they come up with their BS stories,  Have you not foun d out yet that they rarely speak the truth on anything involving Trump,

The only conclusion one can reach about sharkclown is that he is a raving loon.

Yes Mike, under those two trade deals over 60,000 factories closed and the USA lost a third of its manufacturing capability.

Obummer care was a disaster and costs sky rocketed. Hussein lied 27 tim es insisting Americans could keep their doctor and plan and that costs would go down. All total lies.

This fathead sharkclown is as ignorant as dumb Redrooi!  Now that is saying a lot! Hahahahahaha.
