After Harry was doing some work normally assigned to him by the then Queen Elizabeth Megan was bothering about member of the rest of the royal family, She convinced Harry that his rank can generate a lot of money in the USA and they left in a huff,
Harry found that empty heads can only make money by attacking his family members - especially his brother William and Katherine the Princess of Wales, Initially they made some money through those means - but because both turned out to be scroungers the sources dried up.
King Charles is a softie and has forgiven Harry for the damage he caused to the Royal Family - but Prince William and Princess Katherine have not done so - and since they are according to opinion polls in the UK ranked just above at 16% Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor the two are supported by only 19%,.
The Royal family has vacated Buckingham Palace and it is now renovated as a tourism center - so Harry cannot stay there. - so he is going to stay in a private home owned by King Charles in Gloucester - but the State will not provide security to him. He may get a grant from his father's private income - hoping that the Sovereign Grant will cover his living expenses - but that will be opposed by the few working royals still available. Only Working Royals et allowances from the Soveregn Grant.
Up to recently there were a long list of working royals - but of those lot only Princess Anne, the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are doing a massive amount of work assigned by the Foreign Affairs Department or the king himself, For instance in the past 3 years - the Government has asked the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh - sometimes together and sometimes separately - to visit
- 4 countries in South America and in the Caribbean countries
^ Borneo and Japan
^ Ukraine - Kosovo and Bosnia
- Italy
- Portugal
- the USA to address the UN
- South Sudan
In essence the request to make the visits are requested by the Prime Minister or made with his approval to deal with Government Policy implementation..
The working royals are dying out or too old to continue as working royals There are only two younger royals left to become involved in charity and Those are Lady Louise Mountbatten Windsor and James Earl of Wessex.. Lady Louise finished her University studies at St Andrews - where Prince William and Kate studied - but has not yet decided on her future career.. Before and during her University studies she worked for a business in Surrey where she was paid circa 13 pounds a day earning pocket money. James is working as a farm hand and tractor driver on the Sandringham estate at present before he enroll as a student at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester, Both are entitled to Princely and HRH titles - but have thus far refused to accept them.
Just as a matter of interest for the UK taxpayers - especially with Harry and Megan are ready to pounce on taxpayer money.
