Picture: Mike BehrCape Town - The former Common Ground Church youth leader nicknamed the “Porn Pastor” this week ditched almost a year of plea bargain negotiations with the prosecution and decided to stand trial on the 47 charges against him.

The dramatic about-turn came in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court, where the charges against the 27-year-old were placed on record for the first time.

Although the prosecution had wanted him to plead on Wednesday, his defence secured yet another postponement on the basis that 12 new charges had been added to those in the plea bargain.

Despite vehement opposition from the prosecution, the magistrate granted the extension and said the trial would begin on October 18, over two years since his arrest.

The prosecution had expected the defence to conclude a plea bargain stipulating a sentence of 15 years’ imprisonment with five years suspended, which was acceptable to his alleged victims.

    • Sources said that after opening their bargaining with a proposed 20-year suspended sentence, the defence was prepared to accept a 10-year sentence suspended for five years. Then came the youth leader’s apparent instructions to fight the charges against him for a lesser sentence.

    The 47 charges relating to boys between the ages of 12 and 17 include: encouraging, enabling, instructing or persuading a child to perform a sexual act; compelled self-sexual assault; sexual grooming of children; using a child for child pornography; failure to immediately report a sexual offence against a child; exposing or displaying or causing the exposure or display of child pornography or pornography to a child; and possession of child pornography.

    The charge sheet indicated that in January 2015, the accused was appointed youth leader at the Common Ground Church Group in Rondebosch.

    “The accused was responsible for keeping a database of all the high schoolers and for updating all details regularly. The updates included contact details,” the charge sheet said.

    “The accused electronically communicated with high schoolers - the complainants to whom he had access - by allegedly using a false identity and pretending to be a teenage girl.


    “The accused allegedly forwarded pornographic images of a fictitious teenage girl to the complainants to allegedly entice them to forward pornographic images of themselves to him. When the complainants resisted sending more images, the accused allegedly threatened to expose the child pornographic material to others and thereby allegedly used coercive methods with the complainants to compel them to continue forwarding him images of a pornographic nature.”


    At the time of his first court appearance in September 2017 it was alleged he had extorted pornographic images from over 60 boys. He was released on R1000 bail but was rearrested in February 2018 after allegedly re-offending.

99% of this topic is covered here by Beeno from association to LGBT, the Demonrats, the All Blacks and anyone else who is not part of the far right-wing. Yet not a peep from you...
Sure people from all walks of life are guilty, but name another organisation in the world that has such a proven association with this. 
The Arch Bishop of Australia is in jail for this very act, and concealing those from other church members... This is widespread all over the world, with ongoing police investigations and with continual new crimes discovered. And no, it is not just the Catholic Church - that make up more than 50% of the Christian followers- it is other Christian groups like this Caped Crusader. It is organised crime, and left to the people who are not religious to sort this mess out.
Children would be safer with the Demonrats, the All Blacks, LGBT or anyone else than they would with the Church. The religious far-right wants to brush it under the carpet, and then deflect this onto other groups. 

Would you have wanted to be an altar boy, how strong is your faith? T he very people who make up the Church/religious leaders who are are marketing and selling a membership to the afterlife seem like the least eligible...

Someone is innocent until proven guilty. However, in this case, it just appears to be a formality. They have shed loads of evidence to convict him a hundred times. He will be going to prison with a lifetime supply of bars of soap to ensure he gets the same treatment...
Why else would he agree to plee guilty, only to later refute this? (unless the SA police and media are lying, and he did not previously agree to plee guilty).

It seems the Church is the most "infiltrated" organisation in the world. Instead of the Church sorting itself out, it just deflects the evil onto other groups. It is organised crime, and more of them should be locked up.

Unlike you, I don't take moral guidance from gay ministers, some of which are also paedophiles. Some estimates are that more than 50% of Church ministers are gay.
I don't contribute money to the Church or to the LGBT groups. I never attend events by either groups, or provide financial support in anyway. 

The way things are going, the Church ministers are going to end up in the LGBT, once the Church is disbanded (or at least the ministers that are not convicted paedophiles). At least the LGBT are not lying hypocrites...

So you actually fund the gay lifestyle . You pay them, and support their lifestyle.
Catholics make up the majority of the Christian population, but this is widespread across the Christian faith.

1. A business plan.

2. Higher education.

3. Capital.

4. No criminal record.

5. Able to support yourself and family members.

6. Speak two languages (sex talk does not qualify)

7. Valid proof of documents pertain to you application. Birth               certificate, tax clearance, bank statements etc.

8.  Proof of professional and/or community association activity.

So just because you are not in a position to produce any original verification documents of the above don't start point fingers and write all the other rubbish you do.

I have known people who have gotten into Canada with nothing but a trade (E.g. Tool and Dye maker, plumber etc). So it is not nearly as hard as you say it is.... These were people with no business experience what so ever. 
I know someone who moved to Canada about 15 years ago, and he is in a crappy band with some menial labour, and has never really furthered his career. He was actually from a rich family, went to a good school etc, had a degree-  but just does not have the interest to have a 9-5 job. 
It may make you feel important to have this extensive criterion- but unfortunately, it is not true. You have made it clear that you hate the place, and persist as a lost fart. 
You are stuck in the past, as part of the far, far right-wing, that is on its way out in the modern world. Go to a Church sermon with fake people, and your gay minister....
The honest truth is that you do not fit into the first world, because you are backward and primitive with your Abrahamic moral code.
