The Biden administration said on Friday that it was offering $25 million for information leading to the arrest of Nicolás Maduro, the president of Venezuela, after he assumed a third term in office despite evidence suggesting that he lost Venezuela’s recent election.

The announcement was a retaliatory measure by Washington, which does not recognize Mr. Maduro as the rightful president of Venezuela. Mr. Maduro has presented no evidence that he won a July election, while his opponent Edmundo González has presented thousands of publicly available vote tallies that he says indicate he easily won the most votes.

The United States has said that Mr. González is the president-elect of Venezuela and has urged Mr. Maduro to step aside.

The Biden administration also announced that it was extending protections for roughly 600,000 Venezuelan migrants living in the United States with temporary protected status. The measure allows those who apply to stay for an extra 18 months

That obviously didn’t work like most of Biden’s measures, so Trump made it happen. A bit inconvenient huh?

You know what's a bit inconvenient, you ignoring the fact it was actually Trump's measure. It was the Trump administration in 2020, that offered the reward for information leading to Maduro's arrest, Biden merely increased the reward to a higher amount.

Also your lazy whataboutry once again lacks nuance. What such a measure, that the US has used multiple times in the past is meant to trying to achieve is too bring about a wanted person's lawful arrest/extradition. For example, if a person wanted by the US for crimes against the US, was to travel to a friendly country with an extradition treaty with the US or say had to make an emergency landing there then that person could be arrested and handed over to the US. Or if the person was deported to a third country that had an extradition treaty with the US or if a friendly regime came to power in the country that the person lived in then again they could be handed over to the US. The reward's were also to encourage informers.

Again all of that is lawful.

What isn't lawful, is conducting a military raid into another country without approval from that country to kidnap someone.

How many times did you take issue with the legal warrant to search Mar-a-Lago and here you are making excuse for Team Donald once again when he's clearly breaking international law.
