Biden during the election campaign  promised to heal the huge political divide  between the various political parties and many people believe it.   Some members - myself included warned on site  about  wrong decisions by the Biden Administration and the Biden supporters bragged that after three months  his job approval rating was 63% and he obviously was on the right track with the support of most people in the USA.

Even last week some poles give Biden an approval rating of 56%  -  but there is a problem namely that Opinion polls in the USA are notoriously unreliable, since many institutions decide on polling participants  wanting to pre-determined outcomes.   There are genuine opinion polls more accurate than most and we have the following info;-

Biden's  Job Approval ratings

Three month ago                         Approve  63%         -   Disapprove          34%

-A week ago                                Approve  47%             Disapprove          49%

This week                                  Approve  46%           -   Disapprove          51%

The promise to heal the political divide was never really a political intention - Biden really divide is now bigger than it was before the election.   The data conifrims that divide:-

Direction of the country              Right track  25%       -   Wrong track         59%

IN the case of the following components the latest poll figures indicate whether were  as following:-

Economy                                   Approve      47%          Disapprove             49%

Law and Order                           Approve      37%          Disapprove             51%

Border Policy                             Approve       31%          Disapprove             59%

The rest of the participants refuse to give definitive answers.

As inflation bites and the mishandling of the new Covid wave is evident  and the Afghani problems get worse the  ratings are going to get worse - not better.

California recall

In the last election of the Governor of California Newsom got 72% of the vote,   A recall election is to be held on 14 September 2021.   In the latest two polls on the issue the one poll in the past week forecasted that the Governor will be recalled being supported by a 4% difference,  Another pool indicates the recall will not be supported by a difference of 4&    Both a narrow in by Newsom or a narrow loss

A loss of support of 25% by the Democrats will have a serious effect on the political scene and the DP would be in deep trouble.   .

Played golf with two old friends today, both of whom are sincere liberals. The line that is emerging is this would have happened anyway. When confronted with the fact that we could have cut our unneeded German forces by 10% and kept Afghanistan free, they had no real response.

Still the Dems will find some angle for their believers to buy and very few votes will shift…but perhaps enough to stop the insanity.

Mozart

It is probably too much to expect from a rich people  to change their minds  politically on anything since the stock exchange is doing well,    They do not think that there is nothing wrong in their isolated  world where private security is being provided and crime is not affecting them directly or where inflation is not really a problem at all.     They live in a bubble where unlike ordinary people  they do not feel the impact  maladministration have any effect on them.

However, the fact is that for many Jews for instance they were brought up as Democrats and very little will change in their outlook on political issues.

On the other hand the vast majority is not in their class and there are other things  that effect the larger community and interest groups that is changing.   The DP has lost largely amongst the middle and the working class  that voted for the party in the past, - eg in the Latino component of the  voters.   I looked at recent local election results in the areas where the Latino vote decide the outcome of elections  and  that is where the Democratic Party is hurt most.   In areas where the Democrats won by 20 to 30% majorities  in the past - they are losing support rapidly and losing.    According to opinion polls the problem Newsom has is in the very large  Latino community in California who in the recall election petition the majority Latino population want to get rid of him.

We will have to see whether the chaos situations  created by Biden  and the bias of he media covering it up have any effect on  those elements  of he community that live in the bubble will change their minds - they are  in a way like the capitalists in Germany who supported Hitler - who protected their interests  in Germany.    From a distance the Democrats are beginning to look more and more like a party with fascist leanings,.   .   .        ,   .

"American Jews are as stupid as Black Americans."
Omlett, go post your racist anti-Semetic hate speech on one of your right-wing political forums.
I don't think your comment is acceptable for this forum and if I was one of the Mods here, you'd be on a yellow card for that.

Can a Jewish person be an antisemitic racist?

I thought only white people can be racists?

I knew it wouldn't take very long before one of our resident self-righteous free-speech and anti-censorship virtue-signallers arrived on cue to have a pop at my comment. I'm just surprised the Squeaky Toy beat ButtPlug or DumbAss to it.

I've got no problem with free speech. Just say it in the right place. We have a lot of conflicting views on this forum but if we're going to sink to the level of generalizing against entire peoples then we may as well all go post on 4chan. That's the place for those kind of comments, not here.

No-one is demanding that we limit free speech or enforce censorship here but Omlett went too far. His comment is beyond the pale in my opinion.

This is a blip in the approval ratings. It is not significant enough to impact an election in 3 years.
While the pullout of Afghanistan was a disaster, the US wanted troops to leave- and it does not really impact most Americans and therefore influence voting.

Sharkbok, if you believe ou Maaik's sources are credible then you're the one with the problem.

"Sum poles are rong but the one that suports my stupid outlook are rite"

I mean really, that is what the blithering half-wit is saying, isn't it?

It's not a blip in the approval ratings. It's just more bullshit from a complete and utter fool who pulled it from Rasmussen reports or the Gateway Pundit or some other far right website.

Joe Biden's approval rating is tanking as we speak but he's still got a higher approval rating than a disapproval rating . . . something Bozo didn't manage even once after his first week or two in office.

Afghanistan is a complete mess but to blame that on one president when at least 4 were involved is just short-sighted and stupid. Dubya, Obama, Bozo and Krusty are all responsible to some degree. Personally I would think the idiot who brokered the deal is more to blame than the lesser idiot who followed through on the promise.

SB

The open bordr issue will maybe go away because of the reent court decision which declared Biden/'s proclmation was illegal - but he may ignore it as he did in other court cases.    The law enforcement will not improve  and crime will continue to cause havoc in cities run by the democrats - inflation will not vanish from sight- the disgrace in Afghanistan and betrayal of American citizen will not go away and lies will not help the dementia fool and would not go away.

If  Newsom lose in the recall election it will be clear that Biden's time has run out and after the 2022 the Republicans will take over the House and Senate and will have enough evidence to send both  Biden and Harris packing because of unfitness to perform their duties provided for in Article 25 of the constitution.

So try again - your brainwashed idiocy is  not going to help in this case.          .

Cities run by Democrats...
All cities in the US are run by Democrats, even in Republican-dominated states.
The Republicans "run" the rural backwater areas.

Big Tech was created by people with brains, so it is logical they are not from the Republican states.

In States run by Republicans the Democratic controlled cities are not allowed to defund the Police and riots - a speciality of the traitorous Democrats are not allowed.

Brainwashing is not really very helpful  and as soon as the Republicans take back control of the  House and Senate the present protection of Big Tech and co-ordination with the Democrats  to undermine the constitution  as to free speech will end and the libel of the opposition will be sopped - they will end up paying trillions for libel.   Aside from that  there owners  will be going to jail for promoting and allowing Chinese, Iranian and Taliban propaganda.
