Draad, many chicken-runners feel exactly the same way as Mr-I-Never-Answer-Your-Questions here. They sit there thousands of miles away wherever it is that they've run to hoping aganst hope that the country that gave them so much goes down the toilet so they can justify their running away and gloat at the ones who stayed.
I know for a fact that there are also many other ex-pats out there who still have some love for their country of birth and are hoping things might turn around . . . perhaps so they can return some day.
Not saying who is right or wrong, just commenting on the very different attitudes and character displayed by different types of ex-pats.

Actually I have never come across any SA expat that wants the country to go down the toilet. The fact that you think that is really your problem.
