Bozo's travel ban . . .

Whenever Bozo is criticised for his utterly inept and incompetent response to the Coronavirus pandemic, he (and his brainwashed Trumpanzees) always harp on about the travel ban to and from China, how early he made the call and how many millions of lives it allegedly saved.

What a load of steaming bullshit!

Bozo's travel ban wasn't even his idea (he opposed it initially) and it was not just ineffective, it probably made the situation worse.

Here are some facts . . .

The travel ban was a standard recommendation made by the Department of Health and Human Services. It wasn't Bozo's idea and he initially rejected the idea.  HHS secretary Alex Azar announced the travel restrictions on 31 January 2020 effective 2 Feb.

It was a travel restriction, not a travel ban and it applied to non-US citizens other than immediate family of US citizens and permanent residents. The virus doesn't pick and choose victims based on citizenship.

300 000 people arrived in the USA from China during the month of January. it's safe to say that the horse had bolted by the time Bozo slapped on his meaningless restrictions.

The travel restrictions caused thousands of people to rush to airports when screening and testing were nowhere near ready to handle the influx and this likely seeded the virus in the USA more than any other factor. 

Finally, Bozo blathers on and on about how unpopular his decision was and how the Democrats were all opposed to his travel ban. Where is this evidence for this lie? Who are the Democrats who opposed the travel restrictions? Huh?

If Biden wins the election and carries out his promise to tear down the wall etc this virus will not matter because the USA will be swamped with sick "immigrants" from south of the border and Africa.

Free medical aid for all.......Yippy.

They are even going to pay us a salary to move to the USA will flood the airwaves in the world and every person who is able to crawl to the USA border will be set for life.

Uncle Joe and his sidekick will be acclaimed as saviours to all.

The travel ban story was designed for the xenophobic alt-right Trumpanzees. If something goes wrong blame another nation or race. 

As soon as there was a certain amount of infected people in America, it was always going to spread like wildfire. 
The virus has already spread all over the world- so banning China was academic. 
Any American returning from another country could bring the virus in. 

There certainly appears to be enough evidence that confirms Trump was the last one who wanted the travel ban with China. He had finally secured a basic phase 1 trade deal with China, and the last thing he wanted was a travel ban. A China ban would also reduce GDP.

Trump also did not want to ban Europe, but he had to go along with this. He later lied and said it was his idea all along.
