….and blow up a fuel depot. How likely was it that these slow moving craft would return safe. I’m guessing the pilots thought their chances of survival were 50/50 at best. But they went….we have to admire these young men.
And the young Russians who may have been digging trenches in the contaminated Red Forest of Chernobyl waste. What concern for these youngsters from the war zealots? History is filled with stories of generals who ‘boldly’ sacrificed the lives of young men. There is no level of contempt high enough for these old men
Then there are the stories from cities like Mariupol of corpses not being buried because of the continuous attacks…of people scrounging for food throughout the region, even in Russia where meat loaf is being hoarded. Of lives destroyed

Ukraine by all accounts was a country of dubious principles before Russia attacked…it’s been transformed into a nation of heroes. And I’m almost reluctant to say so, it’s so convenient for us to encourage their resistance…our applause, their lives.
